5/16 In. Dowel Accessory Kit

Dowel Accessory Kit includes everything needed for wood joining projects. Included in the 17 piece kit are 12 5/16 in. dowel pins, one 5/16 in. brad point drill bit, one 5/16 in. drill stop collar, two 5/16 in. dowel centers and 1 hex key. The dowel pins are of straight-grained hardwood with chamfered ends for easy installation. They are also grooved to accommodate excess glue during insertion. The fluted dowel pins swell on contact with water-based glue for an extra-tight fit. As an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), certified company, General’s Wood Joining Program includes wood based products that are manufactured in accordance with FSC standards. The doweling kit works with General Tools #840 and #841 doweling jigs.
